Today was a great day. The weather was back to what it should be. We woke up and ran to Barnes & Nobel to look for Loren's toys and to find a book Susie needed for book club. We came home, had lunch, and then went for a tour of Port Huron. We attempted the farmers market, but it only had 3 booths. We went to the ship wrecker museum and got to talk to a very knowledgeable man about the wrecks in the Great Lakes. He told us some interesting info. There is a tunnel from Port Huron to Sarnia that goes under the ground and then under the St. Clair River. Train cars still go thru the tunnel. Jen and Susie had no idea it existed. The man gave us directions and we set out to find it. Sure enough, we found the tunnel. I just wonder if border patrol agents hide out in there?
We got home and went out on the boat. We took a long ride along the shore to look at houses. We stopped in the middle of the lake so Loren and Jen could jump in. Everyone seemed surprised that Loren hopped right in that frigid water.
After dinner, we went back over to Chris and Ann's to see fireworks, which we again couldn't see. Tomorrow is the 4th of July, so I hope we can really see a fireworks show. So, stay tuned!
