Day #23- That's Just the Way It Is, Baby

I often wonder what other people are like when they get to be with their childhood friends.  I know that Loren is super dorky whenever he is with Justin.  When I am with Ann, it is just laughing til we cry and talking about old times.  I feel like we have never been apart, despite only seeing her once a year.  Nothing has changed.  Ever!  Maybe that's not a good thing.  I don't know.
Anyway, Ann and Kevin came over tonight- without their swimsuits.  Ann scolded me for not telling her to bring it.  I assumed it was unspoken that Jen's equated swimming.  We ordered fancy pizza and sat around talking.  Throw Jen into the mix and we are unstoppable with our laughs and stories.  We even got out some old pictures.  All the guys just sat there rolling their eyes and probably counting down to the time when they could have some peace and quiet. 
We got out our case of ghost hunting equipment.  Ann was super intrigued, Jen and Kevin were not interested, and Bob just acted like we were insane.  Ann really liked the dowsing rods and the spirit box.  She asked a ton of questions and got a few responses.  Jen has seen a spirit in her house once and the old man neighbor was run over by a car, so...who knows who she was talking to. 
Finally, Loren announced that he was done.  That was Ann and Kevin's cue to head on out.  I could have talked all night, but people do have work tomorrow, so he was right to shut us up.  After they left, I played pool basketball with Bob and Jen before I headed up for the night. 
Tomorrow we rejoin our main vacation and head back to Pennsylvania, so stay tuned!
