Day #24- It's Getting Hot in Here

Today was a travel day.  We took a vacation from our vacation when we went to Michigan.  Now we are back on our original vacation and heading to Philadelphia PA. 
We called Mom while driving and she informed us that Pennsylvania is under a severe heat warnings.  Temp are expected to range from the 90s-110!!  We could have stayed home for those temps.  We have an all night investigation planned for Saturday at Penhurst Asylum.  I doubt they have redone the place with AC.  I'm not sure how that will work, but I guess we will see. 
As we drove down the Ohio Turnpike, every mile or so, we would see a police vehicle and a border patrol.  Each time, they were standing outside of their vehicles complete with bullet proof vests on.  I don't know if they had some sort of intell about a drug shipment from Canada or what the deal was.  This went on for quite awhile. 
We finally landed in a town called Cranberry.  We (I) had driven until I was tired and sore, so that was our halfway point.  We may have further to drive tomorrow, but that's fine.  I woke up this morning with some sort of eye infection, thanks eye, so I needed time to just shut my eyes.  I took advantage of that time and had a long nap once we found our hotel.  We had Panda Express for dinner and watched Family Ties.
